The First Masjid in the South Lake District.
Two Phases Complete. One Final Push.

Phase 1: £412,131

This phase secured the land, gained full planning permission and fulfilled all pre-commencement conditions. The project foundations are complete.

Phase 2: £1,805,115.62

The building now stands. Structural works, waterproofing, safety balustrades, and security are funded and complete. The masjid has risen from the ground.

Phase 3: £1,204,226.60

This phase includes mechanical & electrical installation, furnishings and equipment, and full landscaping of the ground and roof terrace. This is the phase that makes the masjid ready for use.

Phase 1

Alhamdulillah, we have successfully completed the Shell Build, which was Phase 1 of the project. There are a few minor details to finalize, but we expect this phase to be fully completed by the end of this month. We have now commenced Phase 2, which involves the internal fit-out of the building. Ideally, we hope to have the building partially ready for Ramadan, though this will depend on the progress of our fundraising efforts.
